Printable President (Asshole) Score Sheet
President (often called Asshole in its more colorful naming) doesn't use points at all — the entire scoring system is the order players finish a round in, which then assigns social ranks (President, Vice President, and so on down to the bottom rank) that carry real gameplay privileges into the next round. A sheet for this game needs to track finishing order and rank history across a whole session, not arithmetic.
Why finishing order is the entire scoring system
A round ends when players empty their hands one by one, in order — first to finish becomes President for the next round, last to finish becomes the bottom rank (commonly called the Asshole), with whatever ranks a group uses in between (Vice President, and, for larger groups, "citizens" in the middle) assigned by finishing position. There's no point value attached to any of this; the entire "score" for a round is simply the finishing order itself.
What the ranks actually do next round
The specific ranks aren't just labels — they carry rules into the following round: the bottom-ranked player must give their best card(s) to the President, who gives back cards of their choosing in return, before the next round even starts. A tracking sheet doesn't need to record these card exchanges themselves, only which rank each player held going into each round, since that determines who owed cards to whom without needing the specific cards written down.
Tracking a full session's standings
Because a single round only tells you one thing (finishing order that round), a useful session sheet tracks rank held per player per round across many rounds — a grid with one row per round and one column per player, each cell holding that round's finishing rank. Over several rounds, a player who holds President repeatedly is having a clearly different night than one who keeps landing at the bottom, which a single round's result can't show on its own.
Why some tables also track a simple point tally
A minority of groups layer an informal point system on top of the base game — for example, awarding a fixed number of points for finishing President versus Vice President versus the bottom rank each round, to produce an overall numeric "winner" across a session. This isn't part of the traditional game and is worth noting explicitly as a house addition if a table wants a running numeric score instead of just tracking rank history.
Adjusting the rank ladder for group size
The number of named ranks between President and the bottom rank typically scales with how many players are at the table — a four-player game might use just President, Neutral, and the bottom rank, while a six- or seven-player game often adds a Vice President and multiple "citizen" ranks in the middle. The tracking sheet's column-per-round-per-player layout doesn't need to change for this; it just needs enough named ranks listed to match whatever ladder the group has actually agreed to use that session.
For the full rules on card-passing between ranks, 2s and other special cards, and how the "revolution" variant flips rankings, see the full President (Asshole) rules.
Does the sheet need to record which specific cards were exchanged between the top and bottom ranks? Not for standard tracking purposes — the ranks themselves are what matters for the next round's privileges; most groups don't bother logging the exact cards traded, only who held which rank when.
How should a session sheet handle a "revolution" (a house rule that reverses card rank order for the remainder of a hand)? The revolution only affects that single hand's play, not the ranking system itself — the finishing order and resulting ranks for the next round work exactly the same regardless of whether a revolution was called during the hand that produced them.
